Marc Jacobs has done a 180, it seems. Known for his grunge-like designs, the designer has shocked the fashion world with his new ladylike designs for fall. The feminine, flowy skirts and dresses that he has designed are phenomenal (Check out a picture of the formal dresses that he has designed in the latest Vanity Fair issue). The muted colours of the clothes are lovely with their glamourous shapes.
I always will be a rock and roll kind of a girl, but I am also really digging this full skirt trend. There`s nothing wrong with feeling like a lady once in while. The super cool thing is that the modern woman can dress in these 30`s, 40`s, and 50`s inspired outfits, while being the most ambitious career woman she can be. That is what I love about the 21st century.
How about you? What do you think about the super feminine looks for this fall?

That is neat how he changed his designs. I wonder what inspired him. Sometimes girly is better depending. 🙂
I agree that is it nice to wear things that makes you feel more feminine/ ladylike :).
Yeah I know it’s fun to mix up the wardrobe! We will have to go shopping soon for fall stuff. lol 🙂
Love your attitude! My experience has been men and women that have pride in their appearance and good business manners in the workplace will always find respect and admiration while the person that makes it a point to offend with their appearance and poor manners may win tolerance but never respect and admiration.
You’re so right! I love it when people make an effort to dress up and act professional at work, even if it’s a job that has a lax dress code. I am actually being promoted for being a good employee that doesn’t cause drama, so it does pay off usually. 😛
Congratulations then! Patience and good manners bring their own reward in time 🙂
