Completely random, I know. But I like interior design. A lot.
Some people like the comfort of homey Martha Stewart drapes and warmly painted walls. Many would consider my taste in home decor a bit cold. But modern minimalism simply warms my little twenty-something heart.
Hmmm…better land a book deal soon.
On that note, I sent out five query letters to agents last night. It feels good to be back in business again. 🙂

Good luck on your queries! The whole process was an emotional roller coaster for me (forgive the cliche), but I kept reminding myself, “You can’t win if you don’t play.”

This made me smile. I’ve always believed architecture was one of the cornerstones of civilization and the intellectual mind. The brain power needed to understand the relationships of interior design and decorating coupled with the architectural design requires the same analytical mind that does well with math or music and the soul of an artist.
It is so true! 🙂 That apartment still warms my heart haha. It goes well with that mod bedroom.
