The awesome cover drew me in right away and as soon as I read the first page, I was drawn in to Kaiser’s world. He is a sheltered farm boy who loves his two sisters dearly and is suddenly uprooted to go fight in a war that he is not ready for. He is mortally wounded in a battle by an undefeated warrior only to wake up still alive in a jail cell to find out that he is far more than just a farm boy.

As Kaiser is treated like a beast as others discover his new identity, he experiences a loss that he will never recover from.

This book then shows us more of the fantastical world and its characters when Grant, the honourable young knight, is entrusted with the care of Princess Alyssa, who has never ventured beyond her city. Alyssa is also more than who she appears to be with strange black markings on her arms. While she is young and innocent, I can already tell that the author has high plans for her.

Kingdom of Glas Rebirth is a world full of vivid, complex characters who will keep you turning the pages as they shock you, or maybe even warm your heart a little. It is a story of adventure, honour, and the betrayal that can come along with that. I love how real the characters are. Just like in real life, you don’t always know who is on your side until the end, and the author does such a great job of crafting this concept into a riveting tale.

If you enjoy fantasy or any type of adventure story, you will love Kingdom of Glas Rebirth.
