August is my month for a few reasons. For one, it’s my birthday month so I’m always happy about that! I always try to make it a glamorous affair. I’m blessed with a family who really knows how to give gifts that make me happy. It’s also the last month of full summer and the weather’s usually lovely. I also love the fall, so there’s this sense of excitement looming on the horizon beyond August.
My hope is to finish up my historical fiction novel this month. It’s about a shepherdess in ancient Israel who survives a lot of challenges. It’s very close to being done and now it’s time to buckle down on the first draft. It’s been very exciting to write this moody, dark, yet hopeful story of a young woman’s amazing journey – and the unforgettable characters she has relationships with. I look forward to editing the finished manuscript and taking it to another level.
For this blog, I plan to keep posting a little bit of everything for everyone. I have indie book reviews scheduled until March 2022 so there’s quite a lot in store for indie book lovers! I’ve spaced them out to about once per week so that the books get the exposure they deserve without overloading my blog with too many reviews at one time. I hope fans of indie books will enjoy these reviews and perhaps entice you to check out a new author! 🙂 I also want to thank everyone who’s checked out my blog – my stats have been booming like never before and it’s all in thanks to your interest! I will keep on posting content that is helpful and hopefully interesting to you all as bloggers/writers. My hope is to also connect with more bloggers on here as there’s a wealth of amazing, inspiring blogs out there that I have yet to discover. I look forward to keeping up to date with all of your blog posts – and checking out new blogs over the coming weeks.

Completing a novel is a big goal! August sounds busy for you. My goal is to keep up the post and create a 7 day nature connection workbook. Now I said it out loud, I guess I need to do it!
