Happy December!

Hey everyone, happy December 1st! I hope you’re having a nice day so far. Well, we’re now at the last month of 2021. It’ll be a busy one for me since I’ll be working some extra hours at my full time day job. This whole year has been pretty productive mixed with a lot of self care moments and some fun outings. I’m satisfied with how this year has gone. I’ve learned a lot, as is always the goal, and I have to say I’m excited for what 2022 will bring.

On my blog, there will be a few surprises this month! There will be the usual book review and writerly posts as well. I’ll be doing my best to keep up with everyone’s blogs as well.

My goals for December:

I want to tackle my current to-read list, so I’ll be putting off buying other reads (or accepting free books to review) until I get through it. There’s some great books waiting to be read and I want to spoil myself with a lot of reading this month. I’ll be writing here and there, as well. I’ll also be keeping up with my fitness schedule and going on nature walks. I want to do something festive – whether it’s explore one of the light shows in my city or attend a holiday event, I’m definitely in the mood to celebrate the holidays! I also want to have all my Christmas cards sent out by the end of this week – it’s nice getting cards in the mail and I know some people who get a lot of joy from receiving them. 🙂

Since I’m not much of a TV watcher, I also want to spend some time just chilling out while binging some cool shows and sipping hot chocolate. 😛

My TV show wish list right now is: The Queen’s Gambit and Peaky Blinders. I binged You Season 3 in a matter of one day so I can watch quite a bit when I put some time into it!

I want to wish you all a happy December and I’ll be back on here soon! Enjoy the day. 🙂

What are your plans for this month?

  1. Trying to binge watch Grey’s Anatomy at the moment. I’m season four so far, and there are a lot of operations and relationship problems. My daughter said it was good, and it is very addictive. I haven’t been writing much, apart from blog. I want to start reading more, but there aren’t enough hours in the day.

  2. Great plans for December, Sara! I’d love to do the same, but December here means all sorts of events and parties, virtual or otherwise. (And my wedding at the end of the month, hence why I’ve been scarce! 😅)

    • Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! 🙂 That’s very exciting and I’m sure it will make some lovely pictures with the snowy scenery. I hope you have an amazing December. Events can definitely be fun! 🙂

      • It would’ve been if we got snow here, but we’re having cooler nights, at least 😊 Thank you, Sara! It’s been crazy around here but it’ll be worth the toil, haha!
