Organization – To run a blog, you want to be organized. From scheduling posts to composing your thoughts, it takes a lot of organization skills to keep a good blogging schedule. It’s definitely inspired me to organize more and I’m thinking of doing some bullet journaling as well. There’s something about writing something down on paper that helps you keep track of what you need to do – and a lot of people in the blogging community are also bullet journalers.
Diligence – It takes commitment to stick with keeping up a blog. Some weeks won’t be as a good as others or you might worry your blog will never take off. If I’ve learned anything since getting back into blogging, it’s that keeping on with what you’re doing is the best recipe for success. If you want to build your audience, it’s important to keep up with the momentum. Don’t give up too soon! Diligence is key.
Setting Goals – I love goal setting. It’s one of those things that scratches the little itch in my mind. I set daily, weekly, and monthly goals which helps me reach the targets I hope to achieve. I think something small and attainable is helpful: 2 x 2 x 2 is a good place to start. Comment on at least 2 people’s blogs, follow at least 2 new blogs, and gain at least 2 new followers.
Inspiring Others – This is most important in my opinion. You can really brighten someone’s day when your blog post is helpful to them. Regardless of what you blog about, you can inspire other people and give them what they were seeking. Being an inspiration to others makes everyone feel good.
I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a lovely week ahead! ❤
