Best Exercises To Relieve Migraines/Tension Head Aches

I’ve done these videos whenever I have a bad head ache coming on and by the end of the day, I feel relief – and every single time it’s gone by the next day! I love the idea of drug-free pain relief. Though it does take a few hours sometimes for the stretches to loosen up the tight muscles, trust me, it does work. I recently had the worst head ache of my life (That I can remember) and I did two of the stretching videos by Adam Fields. I think it’s a good idea to do these stretches at least once per week to keep those muscles from tensing and causing pounding head aches – or more often if you get head aches often.

I try to stretch every night before bed so I’ll definitely be incorporating more neck stretches in my evening routine.

Without further ado, here’s the stretches that have helped relieve even the worst head aches (Allow a few hours to a day for relief, but they do work!). πŸ™‚

  2. As I’ve gotten older, I realize that I’m more prone to headaches. Aside from hydrating, I’ll definitely be using these exercises you shared.

    • I get less head aches now than when I was younger which is nice but when they do come, it’s usually really bad. Have to remember to keep stretching. And I’m glad you’ll use these. πŸ™‚

  3. As someone who suffers from migraines, auras, and tension headaches, I will be referring to your list of suggestions. Migraines can be so debilitating ☹️ I take Tylenol to help ward off a headache but it’s not super effective.
