I know there’s a lot of poets here on WordPress and they’re very talented. I’ve never considered myself to be a poet, though I’ve always appreciated the art. That was until one day in March 2020 the inspiration to write a book of poems hit me (The moody spring weather in the midst of a pandemic became the ideal recipe for gritty and inspiring poem writing).

I’d like to share some of my poems here on the blog with you all. I realize some people prefer not to buy or read e-books for many reasons so I figured: why not share some of my poems right here for others to enjoy? WordPress has an amazing community of people who appreciate poems, so this feels like a great medium to share them on.

I’m not sure if I’ll post the entire book of poems in several installments or just pieces from it when the mood hits me, but you’ll be seeing them arrive on this blog over the coming weeks and months. I hope you enjoy the poetry – I’m thinking of sharing them along with a photo I’ve taken to make it even more personal.
