My review:
This was a great story and when I learned that the author wrote this in his freshman year of high school, that only made it more impressive. The characters and dialogue were very interesting and engaging let alone the plot. This story took many twists and turns and the ending was quite dark, yet somehow still satisfying. The main character has never stopped grieving his dead lover, Ophelia, and he returns to his home town years after she died to seek vengeance on the one who killed her. I also liked Will, the supporting character. Everyone in the book felt true to life and many times I felt drawn right into the world – a sign of a great book. |
