My favourite genre to read is historical crime especially from the early days of forensic sciences. I love to read how crimes were solved back in the 1900s , how doctors started to change procedures, and how investigations became more interdisciplinary.

Hmm.. that’s a tricky one. Think Historical fiction takes the cake for me. I appreciate the historical information which is written in a way that is intriguing enough to make me want to read on- while enjoying the plot too. I’ll never just pick up a History book (I’ve had enough in school and college 😂) yet when a great Historical fictional piece is written I find it to be extremely informative. And I find that the characters are easier to imagine when there’s a Historical background which you can place them in.
