My Review:

A raw and real book about one woman’s true to life experiences

This was a raw and honest book about a few of the author’s experiences – from her childhood to her adult life. It was interesting to read the perspective of a woman born and raised in India and her unique journey to find her power and personhood. I was very sad to read certain parts, especially earlier in the story, and these moments are very personal. I’m also moved by her kindness toward others and her genuine desire to help.
