My Review: I really enjoyed this unique take on a YA story – the main character knows he’s destined to be a main character, but he does everything in his power to avoid becoming that. While his dad hopes to see him overcome challenges and be the person he’s meant to be, our MC isn’t quite ready for that jump yet.

He is often suspicious as to whether someone’s about to drag him into a book plot – until he finally can’t resist a certain vampire cat girl. His interactions with his friends and the villains are witty and hilarious. As funny as this story gets, when things get serious they go all the way there. I enjoyed this book a lot! I’ve never read anything like it.
