Indie April is an event mostly on Twitter where indie authors and readers alike can promote or buy books. It’s a month dedicated to self-published authors and it can be a lot of fun if you’re into indie books or want to promote your own indie book(s).

This year I’ll be buying a couple of books (I’ve already downloaded two e-books and will likely get another one before the month is done). I’ve also made a couple of my books free to see if they can pick up some new readers and potentially some more reviews. Over on Twitter I’m also Retweeting other people’s new releases or book deals.

If you are an indie author, I want to wish you a very happy Indie April. If you haven’t been on Twitter yet this month, be sure to hop on over, support some other indies, and give your own book some shout outs.
