Going for a walk just for the sake of going for a walk
To feel joy from sunsets
To skip along rocks or disappear into the woods
I’ve held onto my childlike wonder – it must be kept
I still daydream – I won’t let that part of me die
Never let go of the wonder you once felt for the world and the beauty within it
It’s where peace & contentment are found
I can’t let myself slip into a routine where I go to and from work without noticing the sky or forgetting about the shores and forests
Please never lose your wonder
For once it’s lost, it can be difficult to find again
Catch a sunset, stop to admire the clouds, slip into the woods, go to the beach when everyone else is gone
It is where magic really happens

Thank you. 🙂
Innocuous moments can produce the most wonderful experiences. Simple pleasures are often the best.
Yes so true! They’re the very best. 🙂
Yes, always appreciate the view. Is this in Canada?
Yes they’re all in Canada. 🙂
Great post. The pictures make me want to make a trip to the west coast. I think 2009 was the last time I was there.
“I Hope You Dance,” a song written by Mark D. Sanders and Tia Sillers and recorded by Lee Ann Womack, has the line “I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.” It is one of my favorite lines in a song.
Ooh that’s the best line. I’m glad you appreciate it too. 😊🎶

Sometimes I lose my magic. It returns.
I dread the day wonder truly leaves me.
I’m sure it won’t leave if you want it to stay.
