Each sunset is different. Some are so vibrant you almost can’t believe what you’re seeing. Others are more subtle with just a hint of colour glowing up the clouds.

Most sunsets are somewhere between vibrant and subtle.

You can try to predict how a sunset will turn out depending on the cloud placement.

In almost every case where I saw a stunning sunset, it was totally random. Often when I go “chase” sunsets, they’re more on the subtle side. But they’re all beautiful regardless of how much color they give off.

The blue hour that follows is soothing and beautiful as well. You get to see the first stars in the sky.

It’s mostly about the act of catching a sunset itself – the act of getting outside and finding a spot to witness some beauty in the sky.
